Shkodran Mustafi has reached an agreement with Arsenal to secure a transfer from Valencia, according to his agent. The German World Cup winner’s agent Ali Bulut confirmed that both parties had agreed to a move, although a deal is yet to be struck with Valencia.
‘Shkodran and Arsenal have reached an agreement, the clubs now only have to agree on the fee,’ Bulut told Spox.
The 24-year-old defender is set to solve a major crisis in the Arsenal squad with Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista both ruled out for lengthy periods of time.
Mustafi is expected to cost between £20million and £30m but Arsene Wenger’s side are yet to agree a fee with the La Liga side.
