Chelsea Owner Roman Abramovic Will Spend Big During the Summer Transfer Window, Says Chief Scout Piet De Visser

Having endured a disappointing season, which left them without any silverware last season and no European football next season, club owner Abramovich has now determined to spend big during the summer transfer to avoid similar fate during the next campaign. and De Visser is expecting to be as busy as he was at the start of the Russian’s reign.

This is the first time under Abramovich era that Chelsea will miss out on Euopean tournament and the Russian billionaire is desperate to bring back the Blues to Europe giant. According to chief scout Piet De Visser, Chelsea are set for a ‘very busy summer’ with Roman Abramovich ready to spend big.

‘Chelsea will have a very busy summer,’ he told The Sun.

‘Abramovich is desperate not to have another terrible season.

‘I’ll be as busy as I was in 2003-2008.’

If what he says is true, Chelsea fans can look forward to a summer spree at Stamford Bridge.

New boss Antonio Conte will be keen to add to his squad and he should have plenty of cash to splash.
