Liverpool Legend, Steven Gerrard to Take up Liverpool Coaching Role

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is set for a return to Anfield after being offered a coaching role at the club, reports say. The former England international and his wife Alex are homesick and set to quit the US. And Gerrard has been offered a coaching role by Jurgen Klopp and could return as soon as August, according to the Mirror.

A source said: ‘He’s been offered a job and could be back as soon as August or September.

‘Stevie’s plan was always to come back and get into management.

‘He and Alex took some of their close friends to LA with them but they’re finding it tough.’

Gerrard signed an 18-month deal with MLS side LA Galaxy in January 2015 that’s believed to be worth £4million-year.

But after struggling to settle and with the offer of a return to his former club, Gerrard is set for a return to the Premier League.
