VERY FUNNY as Barcelona Defender Injured himself by Sleeping Awkwardly on the Team Bus

Barcelona’s on-loan defender Douglas injured himself by sleeping awkwardly on the team bus, according to Sporting Gijon’s fitness coach. The 26-year-old joined Gijon on a season-long loan in the summer but has only featured once this term.

And following Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat against Celta Vigo, Gijon coach Gerardo Ruiz confirmed to Onda Cero Asturias that Douglas had suffered a gluteal injury due to his sleeping position on the team bus.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that the Brazilian right-back was so upset by the prospect of leaving Barcelona that he refused to leave the club’s offices when he went to sign the transfer papers confirming his move to Gijon.
