Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has admitted he’s open to joining Paris Saint-Germain in the future. The Frenchman was heavily linked with a move away from the Vicente Calderon this summer and admitted last month that French giants PSG had made contact with his agent.
However, the 25-year-old was keen to stay in Spain and wanted to concentrate on the Euro 2016 Championships.
Griezmann, though, has since switched agents and he’s admitted today that he would be open to moving to the French capital ‘someday’.
‘It is not know what will happen in the future, but for now PSG is not in my plans,’ Griezmann told radio station France 3.
‘Maybe someday, but now Atletico Madrid is my team. I’m focused on doing well there and my desire is to win something important with the club.
‘I know they [PSG] were interested. It’s a great club that aspires to be getting bigger. But I told my agent I did not want to know anything. My mind was only on the Euro[pean Championship]
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is known to be a keen admirer on the French forward and the Red Devils have been linked with a move for the striker next summer.
