Puel won the French league title when in charge of Monaco in 2000 before going on to enjoy a six-year spell at Lille.

NEXT NEYMAR - Meet ARSENAL Target Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa

Arsenal fans will be sick of seeing their club opt to sign unproven young players instead of the finished article, but there’s plenty to suggest this kid could be the real deal. According to reports, the Gunners have already made a bid for the player, and that he could be keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Whether or not it will end up happening remains to be seen, but Arsenal’s interest seems concrete, so who is this Brazilian talent?

Known by his nickname ‘Gabigol’, Gabriel Barbosa is a 19-year-old striker playing for Santos, where he has been for his entire career so far. Having come through the club’s youth system, which has in recent years brought through big names like Neymar and Robinho, Gabigol became a first-team regular for the side back in 2013. His remarkable rise also means he is already a full Brazil international, having appeared four times for his country so far.

Given that he’s still only a teenager, Gabigol’s scoring stats are very impressive, and it’s easy to see why Wenger might think he’s already good enough to lead the line for a top Premier League club.

Belgium's Clash against Wales will be Tough for Us Because They Have Star Players - Says Hazard

Belgium drew and lost against Wales in the European Qualifiers campaign, but looked in fine form on Sunday night with a 4-0 win over Hungary in the last 16 in Toulouse.
