I will Have Discussion with Antonio Conte very Soon - Napoli Defender Kalidou Koulibaly Confirm

Napoli Defender and Senegal international has admitted he is likely to leave this summer for a big club, with a contract as Napoli are not making any move to renew his contract. Chelsea look to have received a boost in their transfer pursuit of the Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly when the Senegalese said he will be having discussion with the new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte on possible transfer to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Koulibaly has impressed in his time in Serie A, also attracting rumoured interest from Arsenal, though it looks like he could be set to negotiate a move to Stamford Bridge.


‘Big clubs want to sign me and there is no sign of a renewal with Napoli,’ the 24-year-old told L’Equipe.

‘The negotiations for a contract extension have stalled and they never wanted to discuss with us.

‘No, I have not talked to [Antonio Conte] but that may be soon. If nothing happens at Napoli, I will start to have contact with other clubs.

‘The game In England could be suitable for me but I like Italy, I do not press for a transfer but I hope to sign a renewal with Napoli or we proceed to other solutions.

‘Napoli also wants to make money.’
