Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has given Arsenal hope in signing Jamie Vardy by claiming the forward has the last word over a potential move. Reports suggest the Gunners triggered Vardy’s release clause at the King Power Stadium at the start of June, which Ranieri also appeared to confirm.
The 29-year-old forward, who scored 24 goals as the Foxes stormed to the Premier League title last season, is expected to make his decision after Euro 2016.
‘We want to keep him, Arsenal have said they will pay the full release clause, but he hasn’t accepted yet,’ Ranieri told Sky Italia.
‘He gets the last word.’
