The popular Indian cricket star Chris Gayle has taken to socia media to announce that he’s set to sign for Manchester United following successful talks with Jose Mourinho. But it appears that Gayle is mere joking, it's obvious the Jamaican all-rounder was on a tour of Old Trafford and decided to have a little fun with his 1 million followers on Instagram.
Gayle is a well-known Red Devils fanatic and has actually stated in the past that he has the talent to have made the grade at United.
‘I’d be a soccer player and I’d be representing Manchester United – there’s no two ways about it,’ Gayle said back in 2009.
‘I got skills, I’m very talented.
‘Football was one of my first sports over cricket. I used to like playing football more than cricket but I was more talented in cricket.’
