Jamie Vardy sends Arsenal fans into meltdown by changing his Twitter header to Leicester City lifting the Premier League. Arsenal made to wait with Jamie Vardy in two minds over Leicester transfer. The Gunners activated the England forward’s release clause last Thursday and had hoped to complete a deal before the start of Euro 2016.
However, the Foxes are desperate to keep Vardy and are believed to have offered a counter contract offer in order to persuade the 29-year-old to turn down the Gunners.
Arsenal believed they would get a final response from Vardy before the striker jetted off with England to their Euro 2016 camp in France but he’s left Arsene Wenger’s side guessing.
With the Gunners desperate to hear Vardy’s decision, the striker’s every move is being stalked and Gunners couldn’t fail to spot the fact that Vardy changed his Twitter header to a photo of Leicester City lifting the title last month.
