EPL giants are reportedly running after the signature of Santos wonderkid who has a sensational scoring record. He’s been dubbed as the ‘next Neymar’ in his native Brazil, so it will come as little surprise that Premier League big boys Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are interested in Brazilian sensation Gabriel Barbosa.
The Santos forward is part of Brazil’s squad for Copa America and netted on his international debut during his country’s 2-0 win against Panama last weekend.
The 19-year-old has scored over 50 goals for Santos in 150 appearances and it’s led to rather inevitable comparisons with compatriot and former Santos forward Neymar.
Barbosa, nicknamed ‘Gabigol’, is believed to have a £40million release clause in his contract and Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are all keeping tabs on the forward’s situation, according to the Sun.
